Abuse ( Details )
The young boy sat there Looking so sad Awaiting the beatin’ He’d get from his dad He gets off at five And now it’s ten after He can almost hear His father’s cruel laughter It was nothing he said Or anything he did He could not escape it Even when he hid His daily abuse Would surely come There was no use In trying to run He’d just have to bear it As he always did Even though he was Just a small kid The door flew open As the yelling did start Don’t try to argue Or try to act smart He grabbed at the boy Ripping his shirt Twisting his arm And making him hurt Then out from the shadows His worried mom came Swinging at her husband With his own cane He fell to the floor At the end of the hall With two broken ribs And a fractured skull She wouldn’t stop swinging At his bleeding head Until she was sure That he was dead The boy was then safe For the very first time Thanks to his mother’s Unselfish crime
