At night while I sleep They come for me They cover their faces So I cannot see Who they really are And why they are here Or why they invoke Such horrible fear Their faces are a blur But from what I can see They are slender and awkward And I just want to flee With magnificent eyes As black as coal They peer into the very Depths of my soul I致e tried to hide But wherever I go They appear like clockwork Somehow they know And no matter how hard I try to stay awake I知 powerless against The precautions they take The drugs that they use Make me feel sick And with sharp metal tubes They prod and they prick My arms and my legs And the base of my skull From my head to my toes They examine it all And once they know everything About me each night They put drops in my eyes That diminish my sight I知 assuming they drug me For the next thing I know They have left me again And I知 finally alone Dizzy and confused I rush to my feet And start walking home Down the dark quiet street Exhausted and aching I lay in my bed And try to be thankful That at least I知 not dead
