One night when I Was trying to sleep I heard your footsteps Quietly creep Up the stairs And into my room Sent by the devil To cause my doom The hairs stood up On the back of my head As you crept closer The evil undead The temperature dropped By twenty degrees And my exhaled breath Started to freeze Causing a frost To fill the room Announcing your presence With evil and gloom You got so close I felt your touch And I could tell Your hatred was such And that’s when I knew My end was near Filled with terror And such dark fear What happened next I cannot say All that I know Is you went away And my life was spared For reasons unknown And so I still live As flesh and bone
